headed back to nyc

It's been a long week... Anna Grace had bronchitis and then over the weekend I came down with a little something. Other than that, all is well. As for an update... I continue to feel really good. My appointment with Dr. Gonzalez in New York is coming up, December 8th (we will be reviewing my test results). Chris and I have decided to take the girls and make it a family trip - they are beyond excited (and so am I :o). Our plans for the week include: The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, American Girl Store, American Museum of Natural History, The Rock, Santa at Macy's, FAO Schwarz and much more. I promise to post lots of pictures when we return.

Will try to write again soon, but for now that's all I can muster up.

Julia started off the month as a dancer (she did not want to be called a flapper) then decided as we walked out the door to trick-or-treat that she wanted to be a fairy flower. Anna Grace was a butterfly, but dropped the wings and looked more like a ballerina. All their costumes came from our stash of dress-up clothes. Good Times!!!

Today my brother, John, turns 28...it's crazy to think he's that old. There is a five year difference between us, but amazingly we've always been very close. For many years I thought he was my very own living doll, often making him wear my old dresses (or whatever I could find in the coat closet) - he was such a good sport. My brother is truly the greatest, he has a big heart and has always been there for me and my family. Last September after my first surgery, he jumped on a plane within hours of finding out that I had been diagnosed with cancer. Then in October after my second surgery, he came down to Florida to help with the kids. He is a blessing in my life and the best brother I could have ever asked for.
